As part of our afternoon group task activity, our group had the task of recreating ‘Rear Window’ the renowned 1950s Hitchcock film.

In order to complete this task we discussed which scenes from the opening sequence we like taking into account what we could successfully achieve within the time constraint and nearby shot locations.

Corey thought it would be a good idea to take photos of the scenes we had chosen so that we could use them as reference whilst filming.

We wanted every team member to be involved. Everyone played a part in front of or behind the camera.

Whilst setting up the camera the auto focus proved difficult and a lot of time was spent trying to rectify this error.

Aimee managed to get around this problem and we were set to go!

As a group we had to be creative and use what we had around the room as props for our production.
Whilst setting up the camera the auto focus proved difficult and a lot of time was spent trying to rectify this error. Aimee
managed to get around this problem and we were set to go. Other limitations were lighting and sound, but they were resolved to our best ability during editing.

After getting all the shots we needed, we took a few still shots for our film poster. For our film poster we planned to manipulate the original film poster by inserting our own images.

For the editing process we split into two groups: one pair editing the footage and another pair editing the film poster.
